About

A sometimes-updated rambling of a European city girl’s shockingly quiet life in rural Indiana. Bloggage for family & friends. America was only ever meant to be a passing-through, stay-a-while-before-starting-life-back-in-Europe…seven years on and two states later and I’m now in ex-pat limbo. Going home will never be the same and yet it’s the desparate homesickness for the familiar that keeps me hoping. I resist true immersion in an American culture that I struggle to understand, fighting every step of the way.
My suitcase is always packed.

  2. Hi,
I’m the Deputy Editor of a British-based publiaction aimed at Brits interested in emigrating to the US - Emigrate America.
I am currently writing an article about Indiana and was looking for some Brits living there for some comments. I found your blog whilst researching. Would you be happy to briefly answer a couple of questions for me via email? I would be happy to send you the article once it is published.
If this is alright with you, drop me an email and i’ll respond with some questions.
Sorry for invading your personal blog, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
    Kind regards,
    David Fuller
